CINEMATIC STORIES

These are longer-form, story-driven films rooted in real moments. Through a cinematic approach to visuals and sound, I explore people, places, and the emotions that connect them.

Chillivia: In the Studio

I spent an afternoon with Chillivia in her studio at the City Centre Artist Lodge—a former motel turned into a creative hub. This video captures her transition from a graphic style to something more raw as she moves toward fine art.

Voices of the BCCR - Episode 2

Part of an ongoing series I’m building with the British Columbia Construction Roundtable. I get to sit down with board members for one-on-one interviews and mix that with the live event coverage I shoot for them. It’s all about professional storytelling with a clean, intentional pace.

Avi & Scotland’s Wedding

A summer day at Stanley Park Brewing. I went for a warm, intimate style to capture the real energy of their wedding. These are just a few of my favorite frames from the final film I delivered.

DJ XXL B-Side Radio Debut

Artist Portrait: DJ KÖL

A deep dive into DJ Köl’s journey through the BC music scene. I mixed sit-down interviews with candid, fly-on-the-wall moments to show the growth and the specific spaces that define his sound.

An Odissi Story

Anna’s movement is incredible. She’s a dancer with Ukrainian roots bringing traditional Odissi to life. I took this one from the initial concept all the way through the final edit to create a visual tribute to her grace.

A walk around Burnaby Mountain

City Nights in Winnipeg

I paired a live jazz track with raw footage of Winnipeg after dark. It’s a moody, atmospheric look at the rhythm of the city when the lights go down.

Covering the debut set for DJ XXL. I handled the cinematography and high-quality audio capture to make sure the energy of the radio debut translated perfectly to the screen.

A personal project from a day spent walking around Burnaby Mountain with my partner. I wanted to create something purely for fun, using little scenes from different parts of our walk to capture the atmosphere and the quiet moments.
